When Chicken Bhuna was £1.25!

We recently stumbled across a relic from 1976 a customer bill that proudly lists Chapati at 20p and Chicken Bhuna at £1.25. And yes, there was even a little box where you could add a cigar to your order. Different times… cheaper times… smokier times.

What hasn’t changed is the real magic, the families who’ve been coming to us for decades. We’ve watched first dates turn into anniversaries, toddlers turn into parents, and regulars turn into old friends. Prices may have gone up, but the love, laughter, and loyalty have stayed wonderfully the same. If anything, that old bill just reminds us how long we’ve been part of your story, and how grateful we are that you’re still part of ours.

Our regular customers who have been coming since the 70’s swears by this dish and for the most, is the only go to curry when then join us again and again. Our secret recipe of tomato, butter, cream and cinnamon immersed with tandoori chicken breast makes it a perfect unique curry.
